Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
The short version: this website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or tracking, and loads its fonts from its own server. Your data is only processed when our host keeps its standard server logs, when you buy through the Whop checkout, when you choose to play the YouTube video, or when you email us.
1. Who is responsible (controller)
The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Luca Frederik Weise (Weise Gruppe)Weidenstraße 1
26135 Oldenburg, Germany
Email: support@clydemorrison.com
Clyde Morrison is a pen name. Full seller details are in the Legal notice.
2. What this website itself collects
Nothing beyond what is technically needed to deliver the pages. Specifically:
- No cookies are set by this website itself.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tools or social media plugins.
- Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font service sees your visit.
- There are no accounts, contact forms or newsletter sign-ups on this site.
The only exceptions are the server logs kept by our host (section 3), the embedded checkout (section 4) and the optional YouTube video (section 5).
3. Hosting (Netlify)
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., USA. When you visit a page, Netlify’s servers automatically record technical data in server logs, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to identify you or to build profiles. More information: Netlify’s privacy policy.
4. Checkout and payment (Whop)
Purchases are handled by Whop (whop.com), which acts as merchant of record. When you buy, Whop processes the data needed for the purchase — for example your name, email address, billing country, payment details and order history — to take the payment, calculate taxes, deliver the download and prevent fraud. We receive the order information we need to provide support and handle refunds, such as your email address and order details; we do not receive your full card details.
The checkout on our checkout page is embedded from Whop’s servers. When that page loads, your browser connects to Whop, and the embedded checkout may set its own cookies or use similar technologies, under Whop’s responsibility. For details, see Whop’s privacy policy.
Legal basis: performing the purchase contract and steps before it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations such as tax rules (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
5. Optional YouTube video
The homepage contains an optional video. It is not loaded when you open the page — you only see a preview image served from our own site. Only when you click play is the video loaded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment, Google (operator of YouTube) receives data such as your IP address and information about your browser, and may store information on your device.
Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking play (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you don’t click, nothing is loaded from YouTube. More information: Google’s privacy policy.
6. Email support
If you email us, we receive and keep your email address, your message and anything you choose to include (such as your order email) so we can answer you and, where relevant, handle a download problem or refund. Emails to this address are forwarded by our domain registrar, Namecheap, to a mailbox hosted by Microsoft (Outlook).
Legal basis: handling your order and your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Transfers outside the EU
Netlify, Whop and Google are based in, or process data in, the USA. Where personal data is transferred to the USA, this relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it, or otherwise on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. [confirm the transfer basis for each provider]
8. Legal bases at a glance
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent (loading the YouTube video).
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performing a contract with you (your purchase, support about it).
- Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — legal obligations (for example, keeping records required by tax law).
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests (secure hosting, answering messages).
9. How long data is kept
- Server logs: kept by Netlify for a limited period according to its own policy, then deleted.
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to deal with your request, then deleted — unless they relate to a purchase or refund that we are legally required to keep records of (commercial and tax law can require this for up to 10 years).
- Purchase data held by Whop: according to Whop’s privacy policy.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — find out what data we hold about you (Art. 15).
- Rectification — have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16).
- Erasure — have your data deleted, where there is no reason to keep it (Art. 17).
- Restriction — have processing limited in certain cases (Art. 18).
- Data portability — receive your data in a common, machine-readable format (Art. 20).
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).
- Withdraw consent — at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
- Complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work, or where you think an infringement happened (Art. 77). The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.
