Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy The Pipe Library from this website. We’ve kept them as plain as we can. “We” and “us” means the seller named in the Legal notice; “you” means the buyer.

1. The product

The Pipe Library is a bundle of three ebooks in PDF format, written in English:

This is digital content. Nothing physical is shipped. You need a device that can open PDF files.

2. Price and payment

The price is $27 USD, paid once. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Depending on where you live, your bank may convert the amount into your local currency and may charge its own fees for doing so.

Payment is processed by Whop. Whop acts as merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout, which means Whop handles the payment and the calculation and collection of any applicable sales tax or VAT. Whop’s own Buyer Terms also apply to the payment.

3. Delivery

Delivery is immediate. Once your payment clears, Whop opens a download page with the three PDFs, and a copy of the access link is sent to the email address you entered at checkout. If something goes wrong, see Support.

4. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy with the books, email support@clydemorrison.com within 30 days of your purchase, ideally from the email address you used to buy. You get a full refund. You don’t have to give a reason, and you don’t have to delete the PDFs. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Whop.

This guarantee is voluntary. It comes on top of your statutory rights and does not limit them.

5. Consumers in the EU/EEA: right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you normally have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, this right expires once the download (the supply of the content) begins — provided you have expressly consented at checkout to the content being supplied immediately, and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

Whatever happens with the statutory right, our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee (section 4) applies regardless.

7. Age

The books are intended for adults of legal smoking age in their jurisdiction. By buying, you confirm that you are one.

8. No medical advice — health warning

Tobacco carries real health risks. The books are about pipe tobacco, pipes, pipe care and etiquette. They are not medical advice. They describe kinds of tobacco and pipes, not specific brands. If you have questions about your health, talk to a doctor.

9. Liability

We take care to make the books accurate and useful, but they reflect opinion and experience, and we can’t guarantee that every suggestion suits your situation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited — for example for intent or gross negligence, or for injury to life, body or health — and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Who is selling

Clyde Morrison is a pen name. The full name and address of the seller are in the Legal notice. For any question about your order, email support@clydemorrison.com.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you buy as a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you normally live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one shown on this page at the time you bought.
